Bruce Tantum (Timeout NYC): Oooh, nice and deep and musical and heartfelt - but still thumping enough for the kids to dance to. Nice!

Finn Johannsen (Macro/De:Bug): A weird and wonderful debut album, reflecting a thoughtful and romantic persona, and quite some knowledge about working dancefloors, too. Cheers Cio!

Philip Sherburne (The Wire/Resopal Red/Lan Muzic/Pitchfork): sounds very promising from the samples -- of course, i'm gonna need to listen at more length... "brokat" sounds like exactly the kind of track i'm looking for right now.

DJ Hal (EQ Magazine): great atmosphere, looking forward to listening to the whole thing at the weekend ;o)

Giorgio Gigli (Prologue): No more words for this album... deep,fine and introspective. I love all the tracks on the album Brava Cio!

Berlin Mitte Institut: Cio D'Or explorers the deepness of the techno universe and pushes forward into unforseen depths.

Markus Kavka (MTV Europe): fantastisches album. funktioniert sowohl am stück als dramatisches und stimmungsvolles gesamtwerk, als auch trackweise ganz wunderbar im club. zweifelsohne eins der besten artist-alben dieses jahr.

Evad / Memento Mori: i'm listening to the album and the remixes now. i could play every track in a set. totally my style. cio d'or have made a very emotional album i think. some tracks are really to float above the clouds. it's hard to pick a favourite, but i think i will be listening a lot to goldbrokat, mohair and pailletten. the remixers did an outstanding job! they all translated their personal view on the track very well.

Claudio PRC (Prologue, Mono Records) Italy: Finally, after several and truly amazing releases, Cio D' Or coming up with what i consider one of the most interesting and beautiful album of recent years. With Die Faser, Cio defines and confirms in more detail her refined talent , her awesome style, consisting of a precise and pleasant world of sounds able to hit you straight to the heart with emotional vibes like "Angora (Mystic)" or "Seide (Tränensalz)", and at the same time also able to giving you the right impetus to make you move the body with the direct tracks like "Brokat" and "Wildseide". A super great job where nothing is left to chance, technological, avant-garde, different from the rest of the music scene. Definitely an high quality time music. Best Prologue release at the moment.

Electric Indigo: congratulations for this amazing album! i find it coherent, very rich and elaborate. what a pleasure to listen to the sweet grooves and many little sounds - so playful and deep in a very special way! organza (transparent dub) is my very favorite on this album. cotton (la petite geisha) following right up. zellulose wind next... but i love them all :-)

Christian Kausch (Partysan/Broque): Treffender hätte sie ihr Debut Album nicht nennen können. Fasern sind einzeln bereits sehr stark, aber filigran und beweglich. Viele Fasern bringen zusammen einen Stoff hervor, der eine wesentlich höhere Kraft entwickelt und unkaputtbar wirkt. Die Zusammenstellung dieses Albums hat genau diesen Effekt und beeindruckt, wie man aus so vielen zart anmutenden Elementen so einen dicken Soundteppich erwirken kann. In diesem Maße schätzt man ebenso die bunten Farben, aus denen ganz eigene Welten entstehen, je nachdem, in welchem Kontext man sie sehen kann. Cio prägt einen wunderbar mystischen Verlauf ihrer Tracks. Goldbrokat, Pailletten und Mohair stechen meiner Meinung nach besonders heraus und werden durch ambiente Brücken ergänzt. Im Ganzen gesellen sich in den jeweiligen Auskopplungen noch perfekte Remixe von Sleeparchive oder Donato Dozzy hinzu. Und auch ein äußerst angenehmes Wiedersehen mit "La petite Geisha" passiert. Ein großartiges Album, welches sich mit jedem Hören weiterentwickelt. Listening und Dancing zugleich.

Stefan Niederwieser (The Gap): review in gap 101 - Cio D'Or Die Faser (Prologue) Cio D'Or zeigt sich mit ihrem ersten Album "Die Faser" von ihrer besten Seite ' nämlich der melancholisch-minimalistischen. Nicht, dass es bei der Dame je anders gewesen wäre, offenbart sie doch auf den insgesamt zwölf Stücken eine klare Linie und ein Gefühl für Sounddesign und Struktur auf ganzer Spiellänge. Was sich zunächst anhört wie klassischer Minimal von 2004, entpuppt sich nach und nach zu dessen Nachfolger. Spannend, versiert, überlegt und natürlich reduziert. Cio schafft es mannigfaltig eine musikalische Parallelwelt zu kreieren, eine Art Traumland von komplexer Schönheit und Anmut, von Ambient und Techno. So soll es klingen, damit die Liebhaber dieser Musik wieder auf den rechten Pfad zurückfinden. 4/10 Johannes Piller

Didi Neidhart (Skug): cio d'or ist ja eine sensation!!! selten in letzter zeit so tolle minimal-trax gehört. minimal ist ja eine ähnlich schwere kunst wie der perfekte popsong, aber hier ist in puncto funkyness & sexyness plus tollen dub-effekten alles dabei, was mir alten chicago-house-fan gefällt. review im skug-magazin ausgabe 81

Cuemix: What a wonderful album! Spehrical, mesmerizing, and besides that a dance record with message. Serious dance and dream music bewitching like the first look out of the window at a summers day at the sea....

The Last Beat.com: sounds intriguing, will definitely give it a proper spin with headphones on!

Four to the Floor (Radio 98eins): brokat gefällt mir am besten. die melodischen tracks lassen sich gut als intro bzw als tool nutzen. werd's austesten!

Nightflight (Radio Fritz): Gefällt mir gut. Verspielt, romantisch, düster, fordernd - alles dabei. Will play it :-)

Klaus Fiehe (Radio 1 Live): brilliant, listened to just a few tracks, sorry! Anyway, play it!

Offener Kanal der Westküste: Klasse ambient Sounds, nach wenigen Minuten ist man hin und weg in einer anderen Welt, werde auch sicherlich ein zwei Tracks für meine kommenden Sets verwenden (Brokat z.b.)
